Delia Granillo

June 25, 1937 — June 12, 2025

Grand Terrace

Delia Granillo, our beloved Mom, peacefully joined her husband of 51 years, Ralph Granillo, in eternal rest, on June 12, 2025, at the age of 87. She was born on June 25, 1937, and raised in Colton, California. Delia was the second daughter of John DeLaRosa and Isabel Veloz DeLaRosa. One of 5 siblings, she is also preceded in death by Rosa Todd, Betty Jimenez, Sonny DeLaRosa, and Dora Sosa. A graduate of Colton High School, Class of 1955, Delia began her career as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone Company. She later chose to leave her job to focus on raising her 5 children: Camillia Martinez (Abel), Victoria Hoezee (Mike), Ana Maria Sanchez (Fred), Ralph Granillo lll (Josie) and Bobbie Granillo. She was a dedicated and loving stay-at-home mother who filled her home with care, laughter, and incredible food. Delia enjoyed sewing, gardening, embroidery, cooking, sudoku, and traveling—especially to historic Catholic sites that held deep meaning for her. After her children were grown, she returned to the workforce as an Assembly Line Worker at Toro, where she worked until her retirement in 1999. Delia is survived by her 5 children, 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandsons. Her love, strength, and faith continue to live on through all who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed.
