Donald David Pichetto

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dad Donald David Pichetto. Don departed this world on January 22,  2024, and will be dearly missed. He was 71 years old and  passed away peacefully at Montclair Hospital. Born on  September 12, 1952, in Los Angeles, CA, Don was the son of  Edward Charles Pichetto and Joan Caroline Pichetto (Masad).  He loved to dance, tell jokes, and play pool (one handed). We  take comfort in knowing that he is now free and dancing  indefinitely. While we lost our most beloved dad, many have  lost a friend and loved one in him. He has been a rock to many, a  master of sarcastic humor and witty timing to others, a dancing  partner, and a shoulder to lean on. Once you were marked as important to our dad, he'd be by your side anytime you needed  him. There was so much more to him than just dad, though to us  Danielle and Dayna, that was his greatest roll. He was also a  grandfather to Annabelle, a beloved brother to Alan and  Caroline, an uncle to many, a friend, a coworker and colleague,  a cousin, stand-in paternal figure to the fatherless, artist, music lover, dancer, and A.K.A. “The Movin’ Man” and the list goes  on. So as our father, Don, is now dancing the streets of gold  with his loved ones, we would like to honor him by laughing,  reminiscing, and dancing to the music he enjoyed together  during this time.
