Grace Cabral

Grace Cabral (Harper) passed away peacefully at home in Ontario, CA on August 3, 2020. She was the daughter of Charlotte and Luther Harper. Grace was born on March 22, 1927 in Cresskill , New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Ernest M. Cabral, her sister, LaVerne French and their parents. She is survived by two daughter, and son, Bonita Britto, Beth Ann Scantlebury (spouse Mark), and Christiano Cabral (spouse Dianne); four grandchildren Dmitri Scantlebury, LeAnna Scantlebury, Amanda Cabral and Shawnice Cabral; along with nieces and nephew.

Grace was a homemaker, worked in the East Whittier School District and Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in Whittier, CA. She is a High school graduate from Tenafly High School in NJ. Also Grace worked many years at American Mathematical Society in Providence , Rhode Island . In 1972 the family moved to Southern California, lived in Whittier then Ontario.

Grace was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, mother-in-law and friend.

Grace left a lasting impression on the multitude of friends in her life. She will always have a special place in our hearts and memories.

Arrangements are being handled by Deco Familia located at 123 West G Street Ontario, CA.
