Hernan Ortega, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on February 11, 1929, in Guatemala, Hernan's journey through life was marked by his unwavering dedication to those he loved and his passion for enriching the lives of those around him.

Hernan's life was a testament to resilience and compassion. He embodied the values of kindness and generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear to family, friends, and neighbors. His warm spirit and infectious smile left a profound impact on all who knew him.

A visitation in Hernan's honor will take place on May 27, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Deco Familia Rosecrans Funeral Home, located at 8545 Rosecrans Ave, Paramount, CA 90723. Following the visitation, a prayer service will be held that same evening from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. All are welcome to join in celebrating Hernan's life and cherishing the memories he created.
