Jesus Robles De Hoyos

It is with deep sorrow that the Robles family announces the passing of Jesús Robles De Hoyos , who passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, in McAllen, Texas, at the age of 87.

Jesús was born on February 20, 1938, in Reynosa, Mexico, to David Robles Cantú and María Dolores De Hoyos López . He began his working life as a taxi driver in Mexico, a profession he performed with pride and dedication. In 1960, he married the great love of his life, Estela Lias Robles , with whom he shared more than six decades of love and union.

In 1988, the family moved to McAllen, Texas, where Jesús began a new career as a landscaper, a job he performed with effort and responsibility. He was a hardworking, loving, and cheerful man, always dedicated to his family. He enjoyed music, family gatherings, shared laughter, and attending Catholic Mass.

He is survived by his loving wife Estela , his 11 children: † María del Rosario Robles , Yolanda Robles , Jesús Robles , Gilberto Robles , Dulce Robles , Esmeralda Robles , Daniel Robles , Martha Robles , Jorge Armando Robles , Dora Robles and Blanca Estela Robles ; as well as 36 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Jesus leaves a legacy of love, dedication, and example for the generations who follow him. His memory will live forever in the hearts of all who loved him.
