Jose Jesus Amparo Zamora, a beloved figure to all who had the pleasure of knowing him, was born on November 24, 1951 in the tranquil surroundings of Nayarit, Mexico. His journey through life brought him to Los Angeles, where he would ultimately leave this world on June 23, 2025.
Jose was a devoted family man, whose greatest joy stemmed from his beloved grandchildren. He cherished every moment spent with them, creating a legacy of love and laughter that will be remembered by all. His warm spirit and kind heart drew people towards him, making him not just a grandfather but a friend and mentor to many.
Throughout his life, Jose's smile was infectious, and his stories captivated hearts. He had a way of making those around him feel special, and his presence was a comforting anchor for his loved ones. His laughter would echo in the homes he visited, as he truly understood the meaning of togetherness and family.
Jose's life will be celebrated with a series of services that reflect the love and respect he earned from his family and friends. A visitation will be held at East Olympic Funeral Home, located at 4556 E Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, on July 17, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This gathering will allow those who knew him to share their memories and honor his life.
The following morning, a Mass will be held in his honor at St Rose of Lima Church, situated at 4450 E 60th St, Maywood, starting at 9:30 AM and culminating at 10:30 AM. This service will provide an opportunity for reflection and gratitude for the time shared with such a remarkable man.
Finally, the day will conclude with a graveside service at Rose Hills Memorial Park, located at 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, at 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Here, his family will lay him to rest, surrounded by the love he dedicated to cultivating during his life.
